Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren welcomed their fifth child and first son last week.

On Friday, the couple shared that their son, Brave Elijah Akins, was born almost two weeks early and weighed close to 10 pounds. This pregnancy was a little different for the family. They decided to keep the gender of the child a secret from everyone - including themselves. Thomas and Lauren shared a number of photos on social media of little Brave cuddling up with his parents and meeting his four big sisters.
