A man armed with a gun and knife was arrested at an Athens, Georgia venue just hours before Megan Moroney was scheduled to perform there.

On February 23rd, police were notified about a man taking photos of the interior of the Akins Ford Arena at the Classic Centre. The man has been identified as David Allen. A search of his backpack revealed that he was carrying an extra magazine for his gun, a camera and a Onewheel board, which is a kind of electric skateboard. He also claimed that he was a location scout for an upcoming movie called 21 Down. He said the movie was filming on the University of Georgia campus. 21 Down is the title of a movie that is in production. But the university said they had no record of working with Allen when police called to check his story. He was arrested and booked for trespassing.
