The East Tennessee Children's Hospital will now be called the Dolly Parton Children's Hospital.

"With Dolly's support, we are now strengthening our mission to deliver world-class pediatric care to families," says CEO Matt Schaefer. This is just the latest example of her commitment to East Tennessee, where she was born and raised. In recent years Dolly has donated her likeness and money to help support victims of wildfires and floods that devastated the area. In a video to her fans on social media, Dolly said that her belief that every child deserves to grow up healthy, happy and surrounded by love brought her together with the hospital.
