Bill Cody, a longtime fixture at WSM and the Grand Ole Opry, has died at the age of 67.

News of his passing came just weeks after his family revealed that he was in critical condition and in need of heart and kidney transplants. Bill joined the legendary Nashville station WSM in 1994 and became the longtime host of Coffee, Country & Cody. He was also a familiar face and voice at the Grand Ole Opry, regularly serving as host of Opry performances and Opry Country Classics. He was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2008 and received a star on the Music City Walk of Fame in 2024. Later this year, Bill will be inducted posthumously into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame.
