Tim McGraw has surprised his fans with a new EP called Poet's Resume. "In the spirit of being thankful, I'm so grateful for all of you and the ways you have supported me, my family and my music thru the years," he said in a hand-written message on Instagram. "Here's a little surprise drop of a few songs you've never heard. Enjoy!" The new EP consists of six songs written by some of Nashville's biggest songwriters and Tim's favourite collaborators.

Garth Brooks has announced 18 new dates for his Garth Brooks Plus One Las Vegas Residency. A statement on his website describes the new dates as the finals shows of his residency. The newly announced shows will take him through December of 2024 at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The Billboard Music Awards were handed out on Sunday. Morgan Wallen was the most-nominated male artist going into the show and he emerged the top winner with 11 awards out of 17 nominations. Here's a look at all of the trophies he picked up yesterday.

Zach Bryan picked up the all-genre Top New Artist award. Taylor Swift was named Top Country Female Artist and Zac Brown Band is the Top Country Duo/Group.

 

 

Kenny Chesney has added a third show to his stop at Gillette Stadium during his 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour with Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker. "We are doing something we've never done before," he says on social media. "There has always been something special about New England, this music and how we all come together. I can't wait to spend an entire weekend in one place with all of No Shoes Nation." The dates for the concerts are August 23rd, 24th & 25th.

Jelly Roll's acceptance speech for New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards was so inspiring that some artists are re-listening to it before they go on stage. According to Jelly Roll he was completely unprepared to win. He says he knew he had only 60 seconds to come up with something...and did he ever. Some people have even requested that he sell shirts with part of his CMA speech on them. He's considering it. It just goes to show you the power of speaking from your heart.

Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Kacey Musgraves and The War and Treaty will take part in Christmas at Graceland. The first televised concert from the estate will also feature never-before broadcast footage of Elvis. Alanis Morrissette, John Legend and Post Malone will also be performing during the show. Christmas at Graceland airs live November 29th on NBC.

Mark Chesnutt is taking time away from touring to focus on getting healthy. He wasn't specific about his health, but made it clear to his fans that getting back out on the road is a priority for him. In a message posted to social media, Mark admits he's been "struggling with a battle that I've fought to overcome for many years on my own. The fight is over." In early November, he had to cancel a number of shows because of health concerns. A now deleted Facebook message said that he went to the hospital on November 1st and required critical care. "I truly appreciate your heartfelt understanding in my commitment, and your sensitivity to my decision, and the privacy to allow me this time," he shares.

The 14th annual CMA Country Christmas will be hosted this year by Trisha Yearwood and Amy Grant. The special, which was filmed in front of a live audience, features performances by Jordan Davis, Amy Grant, Lady A, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, Lindsey Stirling, The War and Treaty, Zach Williams, Lainey Wilson and Trisha Yearwood. The show airs December 14th on ABC and will stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
