Tim McGraw's nephew Timothy Wayne has just signed his first record deal with UMG Nashville. "I'm so excited to have this opportunity to make and record music with UMG Nashville," the Louisiana State sophomore shares. "This has been a dream of mine, and I am working hard on music that I can't wait to share with everyone." Timothy is also going to be touring with his superstar uncle this year. When Tim McGraw first announced his 2024 Standing Room Only Tour, he only revealed Carly Pearce as his opening act. He has now invited several younger artists to join him on select shows. Tim will share the stage with Timothy, Abby Anderson, Randall King, Restless Road and more.

Luke Bryan is allergic to bass. It causes him to get red eyes and a stuffy nose, but it doesn't stop him from fishing. If he does catch a bass when he's out fishing, someone else needs to remove the hook to avoid swelling and discoloration on his hands and in his eyes. Luke says the allergy goes back to when he would go fishing as a kid.
Jelly Roll is seeing success with his weight loss journey. He has lost more than 70 pounds and is feeling great. "I feel really good," he says to People. "I was thinking I plan on losing another 100, 100 and something pounds. If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I'm going to feel like by the time I go on tour." Jelly Roll has been getting help from Dana White's fitness advisor Gary Brecka. "I've been really kicking ass, man. I'm doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I'm doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I'm eating healthy right now," he explains. Jelly Roll will kick off his Beautifully Broken Tour on August 27th in Salt Lake City.
Jelly Roll is being sued for alleged trademark infringement over his stage name. According to Rolling Stone, Kurt L. Titchenell has filed a suit against Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord. Titchenell is the leader of a Pennsylvania-based dance band called Jellyroll. He says they've used that name since March 1980. The band received a trademark in 2010, and renewed it in 2019. The lawsuit alleges that since Jelly Roll's "recent rise in notoriety" search engines have prioritized his results over the band's, injuring their online exposure. Titchenell is seeking injunctive relief for service mark infringement, false designation of origin and/or sponsorship, dilution, common law palming off, trademark and trade name infringement and unfair competition, and injury to business reputation and dilution. Jelly Roll was sent a cease-and-desist letter in February 2024. That was followed by discussions between the parties' lawyers. Jelly Roll has not commented publicly on the suit.
