Megan Moroney was performing recently at a show in Birmingham, England, when she flipped off a fan who was being rude. It all started when someone in the crowd threw a hat onstage and almost hit her. It startled her and she jumped away from it. Megan recovered quickly and didn't miss a line in the song she was performing. But later on, she expressed her feeling by flipping the bird in the middle of another song, "Hope You're Happy." Someone recorded the moment and posted it on TikTok, writing, "Watch Megan Moroney flip off Birmingham crowd!" Megan commented on the video to set the record straight. "Weird way to title this vid & not include context," she wrote. "A guy threw a hat at me & scared the hell out of me. I gave a (middle finger emoji) when he was getting kicked out & continued to be obnoxious. Hope this helps!"
Kane Brown has shared in the past that he was bullied as a kid, so he has a lot of sympathy for kids who are dealing with the same things he dealt with. During his show in Denver, Kane saw a boy holding up a sign that read, "Bullied for the color of my skin! I just want a hug from Kane Brown." He was singing his song "Good as You" when he spotted the sign and left the stage. Video shows Kane finishing the song with the boy by his side after he made his way into the audience. After the show, Kane shared what the moment meant to him. "Be yourself, don't worry about others but also try and be kind," he wrote on the post. "Treat others how you would wanna be treated - tonight was amazing Colorado but this touched my heart."
The People's Choice Country Awards has just shared the addition of four more presenters and the first round of performers. Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town and comedian Nate Bargatze will all present an award. Kane Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum and The War and Treaty will each perform during the evening. The awards are being held September 26th at 8pm on NBC. Shania Twain is the host this year.
Jelly Roll took to social media to share his pre-show warm-up routine for his Beautifully Broken Tour. He eats two bananas and then does a 15-20 minute boxing workout to get him ready to hit the stage. Jelly has also brought along a two-seater sauna and cold plunge. He says that it helps him stay healthy and loosen up before a show. Jelly's tour continues through October.
Brooks & Dunn will launch their Neon Moon Tour in March 2025. David Lee Murphy will be joining them as the opening act. The announced dates are just the first leg of the tour, which is expected to extend in the months ahead. Brooks & Dunn have just been nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards.
Tucker Wetmore let his fans know that he will be releasing his debut EP, Waves on a Sunset, on October 4th. The project features eight tracks. "In a lot of ways, this feels like my introduction to the world, so I wanted to share some sides of me y'all haven't seen yet. I'll be giving you eight songs with five brand news ones," Tucker said in a release.
