Morgan Wallen is going to be getting his bar sign. On December 17th, the Nashville Metro Council voted to allow his request for a sign to be hung above his This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen, almost seven months after they denied his permit application. In a meeting in May, 30 Metro Nashville council members voted against development company 4th Avenue Property LLC's application to construct an "aerial encroachment" at Morgan's restaurant and bar. At the time, Councilwoman at Large Delishia Porterfield referred to his past behaviour while explaining her decision. The sign's approval comes just days after Morgan appeared in court to accept a plea deal in the April chair-throwing incident.
