Carrie Underwood surprised a young girl who is raising money for frontline workers during the pandemic.
Seven-year-old Hayley Orlinsky and her mom were on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday. They were talking about the intiative that Hayley started by making bracelets and selling them so frontline workers would have access to all of the PPE they would need. Her original goal was $200, but that has grown to $27,000 with no end in sight. Drew mentioned to Hayley that Carrie Underwood is loving what she's doing, and then, Carrie pops up on the screen much to Hayley's delight! "You're a perfect example - it doesn't matter how old you are, where you are, whatever it is that you're into," Carrie says to her. "You took your love of making bracelets and you used it to make the world a better place, so yay, Hayley!" Drew Barrymore announced that she was donating $5,000 to the cause, and Carrie did the same thing. The donations will go to a local children's hospital in Chicago.
