Jake Owen is making his acting debut in a movie called, Our Friend.

It's based on the real-life story of journalist Matthew Teague and his wife, Nicole, who moved his friend Dan Faucheux in with them to help as Nicole battled terminal cancer before she died in 2014. The movie stars Casey Affleck, Dakota Johnson and Jason Segel. Jake plays Aaron, a friend from college. The movie is premiering in theatres and on streaming services on January 22nd.
