The American Music Awards were held last night in front of a live, socially distanced and COVID-tested audience at the Mircrosoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

Dan + Shay were one of the big winners of the night being named Favourite Country Duo or Group. Their song "10,000 Hours" featuring Justin Bieber won Favourite Country Song and the all-genre Collaboration of the Year. Favourite Male Country Artist was Kane Brown. Maren Morris won for Favourite Female Country Artist and Favourite Country Album honours went to Blake Shelton for "Fully Loaded: God's Country".
