Runaway June's Naomi Cooke and Jennifer Wayne shared in an interview that COVID-19 played a part in Hannah Mulholland leaving the band.
"The pandemic happened, and the world started changing," Naomi Cooke says. "As a lot of people have done, Hannah started to re-evaluate what was important to her. And that was being with her family and her husband in California. Jen and I have nothing but love for Hannah. We support that, and we want her to be happy. So there's no drama here." A day after Hannah announced she was leaving the group, they announced that Natalie Stovall would be replacing her.
