Can you believe that we’re less than three weeks away from celebrating Christmas?
If you still need to get some shopping done, I’ve got some really amazing markets lined up for this weekend!
Saturday morning will begin at the Hamilton Farmers' Market for some shopping and Pictures with Santa! Stop by from 10am until 3pm with the kids and find Santa in the Market for a Picture or two! After that I’ll be at the Craftadian Christmas Market at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton. Swing by and shop from over 60 unique vendors from 10am until 4pm. You can also bring some personal hygiene products like soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and more for the Shoebox Project supporting women in in need throughout Hamilton.
For my last stop of the day I’ll be making my way through the Stoney Creek Santa Claus Parade, which starts at 2pm!
Sunday morning I’ll be at the Fair December Artisan Winter Marketplace at Cawthra Park Public School in Mississauga. You can shop from over 70 different vendors, check out the silent auction or grab some baked goods from 10am until 4pm. After that, I’ll be hanging out at the North Coal Market taking place in Downtown Burlington at Village Square. This European Style Christmas Market offers vendors, festive food, Santa photos and so much more from noon until 9pm. Admission is free although the market will be accepting new toys, grocery gift cards and new children’s clothing to support the Hugs for The Holidays Initiative.
For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out over at the Binbrook Fairgrounds for the Christmas Village and Tree Lighting Event! Originally the event was scheduled for last Sunday, but due the weather it was moved to this Sunday! From 4pm until 6pm, drop in for some Christmas themed fun including face painting, crafts, horse and buggy rides, a cookie walk and more.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
