Wow, I can’t believe that it’s officially Fall in KX Country! With that being said, I’ve got a full weekend ahead with some awesome events in store.
My first stop Saturday will be the Run for a Cure Garage Sale at 9 Hamilton Street North in Waterdown. Swing by from 9am until 3pm to grab a few gently used items for your home with proceeds supporting Run for a Cure. After that I’ll be at the Harvest Festival at Bronte Creek Provincial Park, which is going on all weekend. Bring the whole family by to grab a pumpkin, check out some vendors, enjoy a few games and take home a bag of delicious kettle corn.
Then I’ll be hanging out at the Etsy Made in Canada Market at 160 King Street East in Hamilton. Drop by from 10am until 4pm to get some shopping done with a portion of the proceeds supporting YWCA Hamilton. For my last stop of the day, I’ll be hanging out at the Apple Festival at Battlefield House Museum and Park in Stoney Creek. Enjoy games, vendors, live entertainment, fresh apples and more from 9am until 4:30pm.
Sunday I will be spending my morning at the Caledonia Fair over at 150 Caithness Street East. You can swing by the fair and check out the midway, vendors, exhibits and live entertainment. Then it’s off to the Tesla Electric Festival over at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology. From 11am until 5pm, drop by for a miniature train ride, shopping, tours and more.
For my last stop of the weekend I’ll be hanging out at the Appleby Line Street Festival in Burlington. From 12:30pm until 5pm, Appleby line will be shut down from Fairview Street to New Street and lined with vendors, music, games, community organizations and more.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
