So with September here, it means that we’re in store for some fantastic Fall events!
My first stop Saturday will be the Healing Heroes Car Wash at 1375 Southdown Road in Mississauga. Stop by from 9am until 3pm to have your Motorcycle or car washed with proceeds supporting Healing Heroes. After that I’ll be at the 2nd Annual Support for Military Families Marketplace at 828 Legion Road in Burlington. You can swing by and shop from lots of different local vendors from 11am until 3pm.
Then I’ll be hanging out at the Locke Street Family Day, where from 11am until 4pm you and your family can walk along Locke Street South to check out some fun activities. For my last stop of the day, I’ll be hanging out at the Christie Lake Conservation Area in Dundas for the Christie Antique and Vintage Show. You can shop from over 10 acres of vendors selling antique furniture, artwork, clothing and more from 8am until 5pm.
Sunday I will be spending my morning at the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope at Hamilton Valley Park. Registration starts at 8:30am, with the walk starting around 10am, with proceeds supporting women currently fighting ovarian cancer or at risk of getting the disease. Then it’s off to the Wiggle Waggle Walk at Bayfront Park also in Hamilton, where there will be tons of super cute pups walking with their families to support the Hamilton/ Burlington SPCA.
After that find me at the Artisan Market at the Dundas Driving Park. You can drop in and get some shopping done outdoors from 10am until 4pm.
For my last stop of the weekend I’ll be having a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru over at Bayfront Park in Hamilton.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
