The first sign of Summer coming to an end, to me at least, is the CNE!
Just like that, August is coming to an end, which means Fall is on it’s way!
My first stop Saturday will be the Binbrook Farmers’ Market at 2600 Regional Road 56. Stop by every Saturday during the Summer months to shop from a wide selection of fresh fruits, veggies, meats, cheese and more. After that I’ll be at the Free Community BBQ at 40 Empress Avenue in Hamilton. Swing by from 11am until 4pm to grab a hot dog or hamburger and enjoy a few games.
Then it’s off to the 1st Annual Vendor Sale at 1655 Barton Street East in Hamilton. Drop by and get some shopping done from 9am until 3pm with proceeds supporting the Mahoney Minor Baseball League. For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Winona Peach Festival at Winona Park in Stoney Creek. Stop by both Saturday and Sunday to treat yourself to a famous peach sundae, games, shopping, fresh peaches, midway rides and more.
Sunday I will be spending my morning at the Mini Maker Faire at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology. This free events runs from 11am until 5pm with games, demonstrations, train rides, vendors and more.
My final event Sunday will be the CNE, which runs until September 2nd in Toronto! You can find delicious food, live music, a huge midway, games and more! Sunday evening join us over at Bandshell Park, as Meghan Patrick and Aaron Goodvin take the stage at 7:30pm.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
