Someone please pinch me…as I can’t believe that it’s already the first weekend of August.

I feel like summer is flying by, but with so many fantastic events, I can see why!

My first stop Saturday will be the Stone Church Road Blood Donor clinic in Ancaster, where from 8am until noon you can stop by and donate. After that I’ll be at the Waterdown Farmers’ Market at 79 Hamilton Street North. Swing by from 8am until 1pm to get some shopping done from local vendors.

Then it’s off to the Dutch Mill in Dundas for the 11^th Annual Classic Car Show. Stop by from 9am until 2pm to see a ton of classic cars with proceeds supporting Animal Adoptions of Flamborough. For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Rise and Shine Yard Sale Fundraiser at 83 Rockhaven Lane in Waterdown. You can drop in and shop or grab a treat at the bake sale with proceeds supporting CAMH.

Sunday I will be spending my morning at the Ice Cream Carnival at Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton. Bring the whole family by for games, demonstration and of course lots of ice cream from 10am until 4pm. After that you can find me at Friends of the Aviary for their Open House from 1 until 4pm, where you’ll be able to tour the rescue and meet the birds

My final event Sunday will be Pier 8 in Hamilton where I’ll be hanging out with a stack of KX Winstickers!

Monday morning I’ll be at Art in the Park in Oakville at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. From 10am until 5pm, swing by to view artwork and maybe add to your collection at home. Then it’s off to the Joseph Brant Day Festival at La Salle Park in Burlington. This family friendly event is free and features food trucks, games, entertainment and more from 11am until 4pm.

My Long Weekend will wrap up at the Christie Lake Conservation Area for some Summer hiking!

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
