Happy Canada Day KX Country!

With Canada Day, comes the Long weekend and I’m excited to see what’s in store for us event wise.

My first stop Saturday will be the Burlington Lions Club Farmers’ Market at the Burlington Mall Parking Lot. You can stop by every Saturday during the Summer and get some grocery shopping done from 8am until 2pm. After that I’ll be at the Ottawa Street Canada Day Celebration, where you can shop local shops or grab a few treats from 10am until 2pm along Ottawa Street North.

Then it’s off to the Family Fun Fair at the Dundas Driving Park in support of the Out N About Group! You can stop by with the whole family for games and more from 11am until 3pm. For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area with a stack of KX Winstickers, so swing by and sign up.

Sunday Morning will start off at the Outdoor Yoga Fundraiser at 85 Oak Knoll Drive in Hamilton. Grab your yoga mat and drop by from noon until 2pm to enjoy a yoga class in support of the Friends of the Aviary. After that I’ll be at the OH Canada Ribfest in Waterdown at Memorial Park. Sunday and Monday you can stop by for games, treats, shopping and of course delicious ribs!

For my last stop of the day, I’ll be hanging out at Valens Lake Conservation Area exploring some of the hiking trails.

Canada Day Monday will get under way at City View Park in Burlington with a KX Winsticker Drive- Thru! Then it’s off to Westfield Heritage Village in Rockton for some Canada Day traditions, where from noon until 4pm, you’ll be able to see some demonstrations or pick up some Canadian treats from the General Store.

To wrap up the Long Weekend I’ll be at Lakepoint Park in Stoney Creek for the 3^rd Annual Canada Day Event. Bring your family and friends by this free event for games, food and fireworks.

You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
