It’s the first official weekend of Summer and I can’t wait to spend it out in KX Country, checking out some awesome community events!
My first stop Saturday will be the Wash for a Wish at 2499 Industrial Street in Burlington. From 8am until 2pm you can stop by and get your car washed with all the proceeds supporting the Children’s Wish Foundation. After that I’ll be at the RBC Fundraiser at 1803 Stone Church Road East in Hamilton. Swing by from 11am until 3pm for some games, face painting, a BBQ and more with proceeds supporting the Ronald McDonald House.
Then it’s off to the Psychic and Wellness Fair at the Erland Lee Museum in Stoney Creek! From 10am until 4pm you can drop by to have a psychic reading done or tour the museum. For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Dog Days of Summer Event ay 680 Highway 6 in Waterdown! You can check out the awesome raffle prizes, games, demonstrations and more with proceeds supporting Animal Adoptions of Flamborough.
Sunday Morning will start off at the Handcrafted for you Market at Central Arena Centre in Burlington! You can stop by and shop from over 20 different vendors with free admission and parking. After that I’ll be at the Westdale Artsfest along Kind Street West, where you can explore a street full of vendors, music and entertainment!
For my last stop of the weekend, I’ll be hanging out at the Oakville Family Ribfest at Sheridan College! Until 7pm, swing by to pick up some delicious ribs and treats with admission being only two dollars, which supports the Rotary Club.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
