Look’s like it’s going to be a snow filled weekend out and about in KX Country.
With the first big snow storm of the season making an appearance Saturday, be sure to use extra caution while out on the roads.
My first stop of the day is the Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Competition at Notre Dame High School in Burlington. From 9am until noon, swing by to cheer on all of the participants. After that I’ll be heading over to the Memorial Park Outdoor Skating Rink in Waterdown, where you can skate for free until 10pm.
Then I’ll be off to the Winter Market also in Waterdown at the Royal Canadian Legion at 79 Hamilton Street North. From 10am until 3pm swing by to get some shopping done while supporting local vendors. For my last stop of the day I’ll be hanging out at the Sheridan Centre in Mississauga. From 2pm until 4pm you can stop by with the kids for some fun arts and crafts.
Sunday Morning will start off at the Princess Ball in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada at Carmen’s Banquet Centre in Hamilton! Princesses of all ages will spend the afternoon enjoying games, crafts and royal treats. After that I’ll be at the Ireland House Museum in Burlington for their History Explorers Club. From 1:30pm until 3:30pm, drop by with the kids to learn all about the Viking days!
For my last stop of the weekend I’ll be hanging out at City View Park in Burlington having a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
