With the freezing cold temperatures that we’ve experienced over the last week or so, we’ll finally get to enjoy some sunshine this weekend!
Saturday morning will begin at the Hamilton Blood Donor Clinic at 35 Stone Church Road. You can stop by to donate from 8am until noon or book an appointment on blood.ca. After that I’ll be at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market, which is open from 7am until 5pm every Saturday.
Then it’s off to the Memorial Park Skating Loop in Waterdown for some free outdoor skating! For my last stop of the day I’ll be checking out all of the winter activities offered at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, which is open from sunrise to sunset.
My first stop Sunday will be the Seedy Sunday Event at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre in Oakville. Swing by from 10am until 3pm for a massive seed swap, gardening demonstrations and so much more! Admission is free, but non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the local food bank. After that, I’ll be at the Cupcake Day Fundraiser at Ren’s Pets Depot in Brantford. From 10am until 5pm, drop by to pick up a sweet treat, with all proceeds supporting the Brant County SPCA.
For my final stop of the day I’ll be making my way over to Dogford Park in Brantford for a KX Winsticker Drive Thru.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
