Happy New Year!!! I hope you’re ready for another year of fun events taking place right here in KX Country.
Saturday morning will begin at the Dundas Air Cadet Bottle Drive at 50 Cootes Drive. Drop off your empties from 9am until 1pm with proceeds supporting the cadets. After that you can find me at the Brantford Farmers’ Market located at 79 Icomm Drive. You can stop by and shop every Saturday from 7am until 2pm to pick up some fresh produce, eggs, cheese, baked goods and so much more.
I’ll start my afternoon off over at the Harmony Square Skating Rink also in Brantford for some free outdoor skating. The rink is open daily from 10am until 10pm for the season! To wrap up my day I’ll be hanging out at Pier 8 in Hamilton with a KX Winsticker Drive-Thru.
Sunday morning I’ll be making over to Holiday Drop-In Activity Centre at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology. You can bring the kids by this free program from noon until 4pm to learn all about the science of music through crafts and instruments. After that I’ll be hanging out at the Ireland House Museum in Burlington for their Lego Club! This weekend’s program will run from 1:30pm until 3:30pm and is all about Antarctica.
For my last stop of the day I’ll be enjoying some winter activities at Valens Lake Conservation Area. Stop by from sunrise until sunset for hiking, snow shoeing or cross-country skiing, depending on weather conditions.
You can stop by these events anytime but if you stop by while I’m there, you can grab your KX 94.7 Winsticker and come say hi at the cruiser!
And as always don’t forget to post your own non-profit or charity event on our Events Page. I could bring the KX 94.7 Events Cruiser right to you!
Let’s have some fun in KX Country!
