Participants send in a clear high resolution photo of their pet. A headshot is best. With no people or other animals in it. The paint company then sketches your pet on a canvas. That way at the event you have an outline to go by and they teach you how to paint it. Submissions of the pet photo need to be in about a week in advance to make sure that they have time to sketch all of the pets to their canvases.
A class is typically two and a half to three hours. The cost for your 16 inch by 20 inch canvas and instruction is $65 plus tax.
There is a staffed bar on site for people to purchase drinks.
